Pysanky are traditional Ukrainian Easter eggs decorated with intricate designs using a wax-resist (batik-style) technique. The word pysanky means “to write,” reflecting the process of “writing” patterns onto the eggshell with melted beeswax before dyeing. Create a one-of-a-kind design—no two eggs ever turn out the same.
