Rachel Becker brings a series that explores weaving, webs, and networks as structures that connect, hold, and move vital energy. Constructed from found and foraged materials: branches, plant fibers, fishing line, and produce netting, the lightweight hanging sculptures reference nets, tapestries, and natural systems. Installed as an immersive canopy, the works invite visitors to step inside the visible and invisible networks that shape our world, from mycelial pathways to the “World Wide Web.” Drawing inspiration from ancient textile traditions and the mythic weaver goddesses of pre-medieval Europe, the project reflects on how the threads of fate, ecology, and technology intertwine.
