Summer Art Camps for Kids at the Art Base

The Art Base offers engaging summer art camps for kids from preschool through high school. This year’s themes range from Art + Science to Harry Potter and graffiti art, ensuring there’s something to inspire every young artist and spark their imagination. Led by local artists and experienced teachers, our camps bring professional expertise and a well-rounded arts education to the community.

Students who participate in the arts are more likely to succeed in school and in life. Our camps are thoughtfully designed to help kids build self-esteem, develop problem-solving skills, and learn how to plan and complete projects confidently. Along the way, students strengthen essential visual literacy skills, including composition, texture, color, and perspective, while creating multiple finished pieces.

Most importantly, students discover that art is about the process: curiosity, creativity, and joyful exploration. Our hands-on summer art classes make learning fun while fostering a lifelong love of creativity.

Policies

• Registration Cancellation: Cancellations within 48 hours of a class start are subject to fees up to the total cost.

• Short Notice: Cancellations made within 14 days of the start of the class receive a refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee.

• Scholarships: Scholarships are available. Applications can be submitted to holly@theartbase.org.
