Art After School
The Art Base offers free Art After School classes for elementary students on most Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the school year. Through these engaging after-school art classes, students will be encouraged to explore creativity through fun, hands-on projects designed for discovery and growth.
Students will experiment with exciting art materials and techniques, develop original ideas through imagination, and learn to confidently express themselves through visual art. Along the way, they build creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and a lifelong love of art.

Youth Art Academy (Printmaking)

Our Youth Art Academy classes are designed for older elementary and middle school students who want to take their art skills to the next level.
Students will explore the creative process of designing, carving, inking, and printing their own original artwork. Along the way, they’ll learn basic printmaking techniques, experiment with shapes, textures, and patterns, and discover how one design can become many unique prints. It’s a fun, hands-on class where kids can get creative, try something new, and make artwork all their own. All materials are provided, and each artist will leave with a collection of their very own prints to share and enjoy!

Through hands-on projects, students will experiment with drawing, painting, collage, and mixed media while learning foundational art skills along the way. These classes focus on creativity, curiosity, and self-expression rather than perfection, helping young artists build confidence and enjoy the creative process.
In a supportive and encouraging environment, students will make new friends, try new materials, and discover the joy of creating something uniquely their own.
