DESCRIPTION:November 1\, 2026\nSunday\, 10:00AM – 12:00PM\nAll supplies provided\nNo experience necessary \nSlow down\, settle in\, and experience the calming practice of creating mandalas. Often used as a form of meditation\, mandala drawing encourages mindfulness\, focus\, and self-reflection through the simple repetition of shapes\, lines\, and patterns.  \nIn this class\, you’ll create small-scale mandalas using simple mark-making techniques with drawing tools such as Micron Archival Ink Pens.  \nA supportive non-critical approach will be the intention of the class. \nRegister for Mandala Meditation \nRegister\n  \n  \n \nAndrew Roberts-Gray \nAndrew Roberts-Gray is an artist whose layered work references a number of cultural traditions. These traditions include science fiction\, the history of the painted landscape\, and the development of the thinking machine. His studio is located at SAW\, (Studio for Arts and Works) in Carbondale\, Colorado.  \nHis studio practice involves material experimentation\, printmaking\, the metamorphosis of mistakes\, research\, and the brushstroke.  \nFrom 1987 to 1998 Mr. Roberts-Gray was a senior exhibition technician at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City.  \nThe artist received one of the prestigious 9 month inaugural Fellowships granted by the Aspen Art Museum in 2019.  \nRoberts-Gray’s painting “Abstraction #22”\, a six foot by eight foot oil painting on canvas\, was acquired in 2023 by the Denver Art Museum for their permanent collection.  \nMr. Roberts-Gray is represented by Michael Warren Contemporary in Denver\, Colorado and by East West Fine Art in Naples Florida. He lives with his wife artist Annette Roberts-Gray in Carbondale\, Colorado.  \n
